Lots of tasty food and fun to be had in large or small groups. Pretty decent service.

Went on a Tuesday night at 8pm; there was no wait. The service was really good and didn't even need the button. For a party of 4, we ordered bossam, galbi, yuk gae jang, and raw marinated crabs. Overall very good quality and portions. The barley tea was also great.

Only recently got to try this place out. Seems like they got a new owner in recent weeks as their menu was different from what I saw on Yelp. Everything I've had so far tasted really good. Most of the banchan (side dishes) was good as well. The ones I didn't like it was probably just me and not the cook. They are generous with their portions and rotate their banchans often. I feel like their prices are a bit on the higher end but I guess it's expected for Seattle. I will definitely be going back and look forward to trying their other dishes.

This is the place to come for really reliable Korean food: hearty, well-flavored, and a fun time. We like to come here with family to get able to feast on more dishes. Our favorites are the bossam and the banchan. (The cabbage kimchi and marinated potates are my personal faves). The japchae is also solidI had kbbq here many years ago and remember it being really solid. We tried galbijim once because it looked impressive and didn't love it--the meat was okay but the veggies were a bit undercooked. They probably could've been cut into smaller, bite sized pieces which would have helped. Service can be a little slow during busy times so don't come too hungry or you might get hangry.

One of my favorite korean places! Haenam is a great spot for groups, but this time I went by myself. I got the kalbi, and although I went by myself and only got a dish and a drink, they still brought out all the side dishes for me! The kalbi itself was tender and marinated well, and the portion size is very good. I also recommend their bossam!

3.5, rounding up to 4 The place is now under NEW ownership. The menu is a lot smaller and the new chef has different approach to the recipes. The place is brighter now after some renovation, so that's nice.

I'm surprised I haven't wrote a review yet here! This is my go to spot when I am craving food, now it's been a few years since I've been coming here! Their "bossam" is what keeps me coming back for more!! Sad to say the prices have skyrocketed but that's what inflation does to you. That doesn't stop us from coming though. We've tried a few other dishes but now I'm craving some bossam again! The service is decent, like most Korean restaurants I suppose. They are nice but you're going to have to ask for things if you need it versus them checking on you as often. Sometimes it gets kind of busy and might be a slight wait, but never waited longer than 5 minutes! Bonus* lots of parking spaces! So that's always a plus for me!

Came in just to try the raw crab!! It was delicious, but the sauce was a little heavy handed. One of the most delicious things was the hot pot and (forgot the type of meat but it was seriously tender and fall off the bone!!) the stir fried pork belly and calamari were also delicious, albeit very dry. The eel was soft and tender, very well sauced (perfect!) Do not recommend the milk tea drinks - got the ube milk tea and it tasted like canned milk tea and there was no ube taste. Service was super friendly and nice, with cute decor and lots of seating/parking! Highly recommend if you're in the area and with a group as the portions are large and you'll want to order more than one thing!

An unassuming Korean restaurant in a little plaza off aurora. Windows are all covered and it looks like it's closed.. but it's not! We were craving some cold noodles, so came to order just that. Also saw that they have raw marinated crab so we ordered that too. And the seafood pancake. The sides had really good variety which was nice. I really liked the fermented bok choy (I think?), the potatoes, and the tofu. Raw marinated crab was flavored really nice. The crab itself had a good amount of meat as well. Meat itself was creamy and sweet. This was actually my first time having it so I don't have anything to compare it to, but it was good! Cold noodles were more room temp than cold. But soup was flavorful, and the noodles were nice and chewy. Seafood pancake was absolutely loaaaaaded with green onions and a small smattering of squid. Felt like it could've been better in terms of amount of seafood. Texture and taste was good though. Overall not bad! I loved the variety of dishes, so I'll be back for sure!
